Like a kid saving up proofs-of-purchases from breakfast cereal and waiting months for some piece of plastic crap to arrive, I was giddy when the UPS guy finally arrived two months after getting enough TiVo customer referrals (4) to get their free special iPod. And I'm such a dork I got a case for it that is clear on the back, so I can show off the TiVo logo while still protecting it.
I'm really surprised the unit didn't ship with TiVo blips or their theme song already on it.
